For both knit and crochet! Let Linda Dean teach you all the ins and outs to creating a perfect hat every time! You will gain insight for all kinds of hat construction, such as top down, bottom up, vertically worked and brimmed, as well as how to resize them for any head size. Make it for a man or a preemie, the same concepts can be applied to every size. Understand how your gauge and your tape measure makes a perfectly fitting hat, tam, or beanie! Class fee: $75

Take crochet color work to a new level with Overlay Mosaic! Our Master Crocheter Linda Dean will teach you how to read charts to create this unique one-sided fabric. If you know basic crochet stitches you can succeed at making these geometric patterns. Class will include free patterns for a hat and fingerless gloves. Class fee: $75

TUNISIAN STITCH SAMPLER
with Linda Dean Thursdays, August 18 and 25 10 am – 1 pm Super instructor and crochet master Linda Dean invites you to get excited about this technique that is changing the face of crochet! Tunisian crochet is easier than you may realize, and in this class, you will learn an assortment of six stitches including simple, knit, full, crossed, double knit, and purl as well as a couple of different ways to begin your project. By the end of the class, you will have a new understanding of how these stitches are constructed, allowing you a greater understanding and confidence in your Tunisian project. Class fee: $65 ![]()

Meet Linda Dean, teacher for many of our Crochet University classes. Linda is a Craft Yarn Council Certified Instructor as well as a Master of Advanced Stitches and Techniques as recognized by the Crochet Guild of America. She is a published designer with many works to her name. In her position as Professional Development Chairperson, she offers instructions to crochet professionals on a national level. She instructs to national as well as international students as a Senior Review for the Master's Program, both of which are taught through the Crochet Guild of America.

If minimum class size of three students is not met one week prior to the first class, all fees will be refunded and class will be canceled. None of the classes include supplies unless otherwise noted.
